| The FINNISH LAPPHUND is a rare breed here in Australia . It is a medium sized dog and has the softest nature you could wish for, they were originally bred as a Reindeer Herding Dog and although their herding instinct is strong they are more a companion dog now than a working dog, but will still let you know if a stranger is about, even if it is only to get a pat . We now invite you to meet our Lappies. |

Jukki is now 7 years of age but could more than hold his own in open competition against much younger dogs. He is a most gentle natured and highly intelligent dog. As you will see in the collage picture page he runs with the Mals as well as when friends need to socialize their young dogs small or large Jukki is the dog they bring them to because of his soft nature. Kat has only been with us for a couple of years, she was originally shown and attended to her motherly duties under Col and Ros's care in Queensland, we wanted a Lappie companion for her older brother Jukki . We decided for safety sake to have her desexed but we still campaign her in shows that have desexed classes. She is just a most gorgeous girl in all aspects. |

Varda pictured above at 3 years of age is one of only a handful of Lappies in Australia to be awarded BEST EXHIBIT IN GROUP at an all breeds championship show. Varda was named after an ancient time wizard , and we do believe that he is Simply Magic. Varda gained his Australian Championship at 13 months of age, doing it in style with Runner Up In Group. |
